Introducing ZUBAIDAH BINTI SUAL @ SHAWAL

Currently Managing Director / Consultant of Cashmere Gallery.Zubaidah specialized in traditional textiles and costumes. A devoted researcher and writer  on Malay traditional costumes and culture, Zubaidah has consulted for the ‘Melaka Ceremonial Costumes’ and ‘ Traditional Costumes of Negeri Sembilan’.  She has also been involved in costume design and scriptwriting for the classical Malay theatre. Zubaidah has vast experience in the field of museology. Having served Muzium Negara for 25 years and several years with Istana Budaya as one of its Assistant Director. Trained in textile conservation from England, Zubaidah is one of the few Malaysian experts in the field.
